CARMELLIPHANT 🚗🐘

Hey, thanks for stopping by!

I’m Carmelli, a brand strategist, but outside the ad world, you’ll most likely find me creating dance choreography, playing piano, searching for cute cafes around town, adding to my travel bucket list, making lists within lists, sipping hot matcha, or re-watching Emily in Paris. Down to hit a new café, grab a latte, and chat? Come and join me! I got a café list for that 😉.

Where it all began:

From childhood, the brands I loved and supported were always a huge part of my identity, so much, that I scrapbooked them. No matter the age, every page featured cut-outs of brands I enjoyed (like a Cheerios logo beside my toddler pictures) because I felt I couldn’t fully capture my past identities without them.

I enjoyed collecting ads and brochures from every city I visited because, to me, they represented and reflected each city’s era, culture, and values. I would cut them up and glue them in this "Adventure Book” to stay connected with the city’s people and lifestyle there.

Today, as I pursue a career in brand strategy, I realize the full-circle effect of my passion and the cultural significance I always saw in advertising.

Ask me about…

  • The time I got locked in a Barnes & Noble at Union Square, Manhattan

  • Titanic (I’ve seen the movie 90 times… I wish I was joking)

  • NYC recommendations (I visited 40+ museums one summer)
